In these times where mass racism and injustice strike our brown communities—especially through ICE and unjust systems—I stand firm, proud, and unbreakable with mi gente.

Walking Stars — Ismael Rey Lara (now Evolving Wings)

Walking Stars is the debut EP I released under my real name, Ismael Rey Lara, before I became Evolving Wings. The title track honors my dad’s transition into an ancestor after cancer. It’s a heartfelt blend of hip‑hop and reflection—about grief, faith, and the way love continues to guide us. This project marks the start of my journey, turning pain into purpose and carrying my father’s light forward.
